Membership Eligibility

The unique structure of a credit union limits eligibility to a field of membership defined by a common bond. Specifically, you are eligible to join if:

• You work for Travis County.
• You live or work within Travis County lines.
• You are employed by or affiliated with an organization that sponsors TCCU as its credit union. 
• You are a retiree of an organization that sponsors TCCU as its credit union. 
• You are an immediate family member or household member of:
  a. an existing TCCU member, or 
  b. an individual who qualifies for membership in the provision above

We invite all eligible persons to sign up and enjoy the benefits of credit union membership.

We're excited to be your choice!  To become a member simply print out and complete the Member Application.  You can review the account services that we offer on the Products & Services page.  Please also review our Rate Board for current rate and fee information.

I accordance with Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act, applicants for new accounts are requested to provide current picture identification that verifies identiry including name, address and other identifying information.  To accomplish this, we will ask you to bring your valid driver’s license or government issued photo ID.  If the home address present on your ID is not your current address, we will need to see a current utility bill, cell phone bill, or voter registration card in order to validate your home address.  In addition, if available, we will ask you for your social security card, your passport or your birth certificate to assist us in maintaining our compliance with the USA Patriot Act.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding of this.
